There are good news for ASPENSI (Association of Indonesian Scholars of History Education) in Bandung. One of the good news is that Sri Redjeki Rosdianti, S.Pd. and Dra. Tati Agustini Setiawati, two of them are the Teachers at SMKN (State Vocational High School) 9 Bandung, has successfully earned the Masters degree as M.M.Pd. (Master of Educational Management) from Postgraduate Program UNINUS (Islamic University of Nusantara), Jalan Soekarno-Hatta No.530 Bandung 40286, West Java, Indonesia, on 7th March 2013.
Sri, who also as Committee Member of ASPENSI and Teacher of Social Studies Education at SMP (Junior High School) Labshool UPI (Indonesia University of Education) Cibiru Campus, Bandung, has been examined by Prof. Dr. Cornelia Jane Benny, Prof. Dr. H. Dedi Mulyasana, Prof. Dr. H. Achmad Sanusi, and Prof. Dr. H. Enco Mulyasa, with her Master Thesis entitled “Manajemen Kinerja Guru dan Peningkatan Mutu Pembelajaran: Studi Deskriptif pada SMK Swasta di Kota Bandung” (Management of Teacher Performance and Upgrading the Learning Quality: A Descriptive Study of the Private Vocational High School at Bandung City).
In the same time, Tati, who also as Committee Member of ASPENSI in Bandung, has been examined with the similar Professors with her Master Thesis entitled “Manajemen Pembelajaran Produktif dalam Rangka Meningkatkan Kompetensi Keahlian Jasa Boga di SMK Swasta Kota Bandung” (Management of Productive Learning Related to Enhancing the Expert Competences of Restaurant Service at the Private Vocational High School in Bandung City).
According to Dra. Wiwi Siti Zawiyah, as Principal of SMKN 9 Bandung and as also Committee Member of ASPENSI, she is really glad and proud that her teachers at the school are able to graduated from their study. Wiwi has had hopefully as well as optimistically that both Sri and Tati are able to implementing their competences in teaching-learning process in the classroom.
Meanwhile, Dr. H. Imron Arifin from UM (State University of Malang) in East Java, who also as Committee Member of ASPENSI, said that by graduating many members of ASPENSI, it indicates that improving the Human Resources Program of ASPENSI is running well. He also said that ASPENSI not only care with the developing the staff but also concern with the quality of human resources so that ASPENSI Agendas are able to be done successfully.
As we know that Sri R. Rosdianti, S.Pd. is also as Managing Editor of the SUSURGALUR: Jurnal Kajian Sejarah & Pendidikan Sejarah (Journal of History Education and Historical Studies) and Dra. Tati Agustini Setiawati as Associate Editor of ATIKAN: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan (Journal of Educational Studies).
