Anzar Abdullah, M.Pd., a Senior Lecturer at the Department of History Education, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training UVRI (Veteran University of the Republic of Indonesia) in Makassar, South Sulawesi, will be examined in Viva Session on 18th February 2013 at Postgraduate Program UIN (State Islamic University) Sultan Alauddin, Jalan Sultan Alauddin, Makassar City, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
According to Prof. Dr. Haji Endang Komara, an Expert Board Member of ASPENSI (Association of Indonesian Scholars of History Education) and also as a Professor at the STKIP (College of Education and Teacher Training) Pasundan Cimahi in Bandung, Anzar Abdullah, M.Pd. will be examined his dissertation in Doctor of Education entitled “Konstelasi Pemikiran Pendidikan Muhammad Natsir dalam Upaya Membangun Akhlak Mulia Peserta Didik dalam Sistem Pendidikan Nasional” (Constellation of Muhammad Natsir’s Ideas on Education of Building Students’ Good Values and Characters in National Education System).
The examiner readers of Anzar Abdullah’s dissertation are: (1) Prof. Dr. H. Mappangaro, (2) Prof. Dr. Darussalam Syamsuddin, (3) Prof. Dr. Moh. Natsir Mahmud, (4) Prof. Dr. Abd. Rahman Halim, (5) Prof. Dr. M. Nasir A. Baki, (6) Prof. Dr. Mulyono, (7) Prof. Dr. H.A. Qadir Gassing, and (8) Prof. Dr. H. Nihaya.
As we know that Anzar Abdullah, M.Pd., beside as Member of ASPENSI Central Committee, is also as Managing Editor of TAWARIKH: International Journal for Historical Studies. This academic journal, since April 2012 edition, has been jointly published by Department of History Education UVRI in Makassar and ASPENSI in Bandung. This journal has also been accredited by Ditjendikti Kemdikbud RI (Directorate-General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia) in Jakarta for period of 2013 to 2018.
“I think Anzar Abdullah is ready to answer some critical questions from the examiner readers in the Viva. Hopefully, and let’s we also pray to God, that Anzar Abdullah will graduate with the best result”, Prof. Komara said.
